Job summary

Proliance Surgeons in the Puget Sound area seeks a skilled Physician Assistant to serve as first assistant in the ASC operating room and provide clinic-based and post-operative care. The role may include hospital OR participation and patient rounding, with ongoing patient education and documentation.

Requirements include PA license in Washington, NCCPA certification, and current CPR/BLS; two years of surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physician’s Assistant Program.
• Washington State Physician Assistant License, Current
• Current Certification as a physician assistant by NCCPA
• Current CPR and BLS from the American Heart Association
• Two years prior experience in surgery preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as first assistant in the ASC operating room.
• Provide clinic-based care and post-operative care.
• May provide surgical assistance in the hospital OR.
• Perform hospital rounds and related charting/documentation.
• Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans and regimes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
