Job summary

Proliance Southwest Seattle Orthopaedics Clinic Burien seeks a licensed Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care in both clinic and operating room settings. The role involves first-assistant duties in the ASC OR, postoperative care, and occasional hospital rounding, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm.

Ideal candidates have an accredited PA program credential, current WA license, NCCPA certification, and CPR/BLS. Two years of surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• WA State Physician Assistant License, Current.
• Current NCCPA Certification.
• Current CPR and BLS from AHA.
• Two years prior experience in surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and provide clinic-based care.
• Conduct history and physical exams; develop care plans.
• Order and interpret tests within scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications and therapies according to privileges.
• Provide postoperative care and rounds; hospital duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
