Southeast Orthopedic Specialists in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our orthopedic spine surgery team. You will work with experienced spine surgeons in both clinical and surgical settings to treat spinal disorders and injuries.

Responsibilities include evaluating and diagnosing spine patients, ordering and interpreting imaging, providing pre- and post-operative care, and assisting in the OR as First Assist.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) program.
• Active Florida PA-C or ARNP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous orthopedic, neurosurgery, spine, surgical, or related clinical experience preferred.
• Strong interest in orthopedic spine care and surgery.
• Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and patient education skills.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with spine-related conditions.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order, review, and interpret imaging studies (X-rays, CT, MRI).
• Assist in the management of surgical and non-surgical spine patients.
• Provide pre-operative evaluations, education, and post-operative follow-up care.
• Participate in the OR as First Assist for spine procedures.
• Collaborate with spine surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
