Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic surgeries worldwide, building clinical and technical expertise across robotic (Mako SmartRobotics™) and manual orthopedic procedures. You will assist in pre-operative planning, case preparation, system setup, and real-time workflows to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Associate degree with 4+ years of related experience accepted.
• High school diploma with 6+ years of related experience accepted.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Clinical experience in nursing, physical therapy, surgical tech, athletic training, or related fields is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Learn and support workflow for daily account coordination, including inventory management and logistics.
• Shadow experienced teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, education programs, and customer training events.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts, system updates, and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales partners to ensure seamless execution and a unified customer experience.
• Complete required trainings, competencies, and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
