Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Michigan to support orthopedic surgeries worldwide, building expertise in both Mako robotic and manual procedures. You will assist with pre-operative planning, system setup, and in-lab demonstrations, collaborating with surgeons and cross-functional teams.

The role requires adaptability, on-call coverage evenings, weekends, and holidays, and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Associate degree with 4 years of professional/related experience.
• High school diploma with 6 years of professional/related experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: clinical experience in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Gain solo case coverage competency for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Learn and support workflow for daily account coordination, including inventory management and logistics.
• Shadow experienced teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, education programs, and customer training events.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
