Job summary

Novant Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic specialty care unit at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. This PRN shift runs 7:00pm–7:00am in a newly renovated 39-bed unit focused on total joint replacements and spine care.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and an accredited nursing program, with an active RN license in the state. One year of relevant experience is preferred and competitive pay is offered.

Unit Description:Ortho and Spine Specialty care unit is a 39 bed newly renovated unit that specializes in total joint replacements, orthopedic condition management, spine surgery/procedures, complicated headaches and retractable migraines.

What We're Looking For

• Education:4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience:One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
