Mercy is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. You will provide safe, evidence-based care and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or eligibility for licensure in state of practice (or GN permit as applicable).
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS preferred or obtained within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients across diverse clinical settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following Mercy standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret clinical data, and respond to changes promptly.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and policy compliance.
• Support orientation and mentoring of peers and students as appropriate.
