Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.
• Registered and certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; must become registered within 12 months of hire.
• BCLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures and maintains patient safety.
• Maintains accurate patient records via data entry and image archiving.
• Assists radiologists and staff with procedures and scheduling.
• Provides instruction and consultation to healthcare personnel and patients.
• Provides emergency on-call coverage after normal working hours as required.
• Maintains readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.
