Job summary

OrthoNebraska seeks a Clinic Radiology Technologist to perform quality diagnostic x-rays in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic. You will interact positively with patients and staff while following physician orders and ALARA principles.

Requirements include AMA-approved radiologic technology education and ARRT (R) license, plus Nebraska and Iowa state licenses and BLS certification. 1+ year clinic/hospital imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Performs quality x-rays in an orthopedic clinic setting.
• Adjust positioning and technical parameters to obtain required anatomy for optimal results.
• Assess patient ability and communicate effectively to complete exams timely.
• Interact professionally with patients, physicians, management and team members.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and safe radiologic operation per ALARA.
• Obtain quality diagnostic images per physician protocols.
• Provide friendly interactions with patients and families of all ages.
• Participate in department meetings and performance improvement education.
