Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking a Radiology Technologist for our fast-paced orthopedic clinic. You will obtain high-quality diagnostic x-rays in accordance with physician orders, while maintaining safety and ALARA principles.

The role emphasizes friendly patient interactions and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure efficient exams. Required AMA-approved radiologic technology training, ARRT certification, Nebraska and Iowa radiography licenses, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology school.
• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• Nebraska state Medical Radiographer license is required.
• Iowa state Radiographer license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ year of clinic/hospital imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic x-rays in an orthopedic clinic.
• Ensure image quality and adjust positioning/parameters for optimal results.
• Assess patient abilities and communicate to complete exams efficiently.
• Maintain ALARA principles and safety standards.

Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
