Job summary

EmergeOrtho in North Carolina is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our orthopedic imaging team. Under physician supervision, you will perform quality diagnostic imaging and ensure accurate documentation and charging for studies, with travel to Asheville and Arden as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, ARRT registration, NC licensure, CPR certification, and strong patient care and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic technologist program.
• ARRT registration and NC licensure as required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform procedures.
• Current CPR certification and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient medical history prior to physician exam.
• Position radiographic equipment at the correct angle and height over the patient.
• Adjust controls on the x‑ray machine to achieve appropriate density and contrast.
• Perform all diagnostic x‑rays as indicated by physician and APP.
• Prepare medical record information and x‑ray films for physician review.
• Maintains infection control and patient education as appropriate.
• Replenishes supplies and cleans exam room after each patient.
• Document and charge for studies accurately.
