Job summary

EmergeOrtho in North Carolina is seeking a Medical Assistant | Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality patient care under physician supervision in an orthopedic setting. You will perform diagnostic imaging, prepare patients for exams, and support the clinical team while ensuring accuracy in documentation and adherence to infection control practices across multiple office locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic technologist training program.
• ARRT registration is required.
• State licensure/certification as required by North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient history prior to physician exam.
• Perform diagnostic x-rays as indicated by physician.
• Prepare medical records and x-ray films for review.
• Maintain infection control policies and procedures.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, procedures and medications.
• Replenish and organize exam room supplies at day end.
• Communicate supply shortages to Clinical Manager or designee.
• Ensure lab results are obtained and communicated to physicians.
