Job summary

Cape Fox Concentric Methods is seeking a Radiographic Technologist - Orthopedic to provide radiographic imaging at the Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center, Nellis AFB, NV. The RT will perform specialized radiographic procedures, support contrast media administration, ensure patient safety, and uphold quality standards in Radiology.

The role requires completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program, ARRT registration, and at least four years of x-ray experience, including

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited radiologic technologist course.
• Minimum of four years of experience operating x-ray equipment, producing and processing radiographs.
• Two years of experience in orthopedic trauma surgical cases.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must hold and maintain ARRT registration throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates fixed and portable radiographic equipment to produce routine diagnostic images; adjusts technique settings.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain indicated views; ensures radiation safety and accurate image capture.
• Selects imaging protocols and processes images; uses computer systems to record and store data.
• Assists with fluoroscopic and special examinations; prepares contrast media and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and routine QC checks; participates in radiation safety programs.
