Job summary

Boulder Centre for Orthopedics is seeking a part-time RN to provide postoperative care in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. You will monitor recovery, coordinate with surgeons and therapists, manage pain, and educate patients for home recovery.

The role offers 12-hour shifts, on-site work, and a night differential. A Colorado RN license, BCLS/ACLS, and at least 2 years of RN experience are required. No weekends; EAP and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required or preferred.
• Current Colorado RN license.
• BCLS & ACLS certification.
• 2 years RN experience in professional medical setting; orthopedic care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physical therapists, and care team on individualized plans.
• Manage pain and symptoms, administer medications, and use non-medication interventions.
• Perform wound care and educate patients and families on home recovery.
• Document care and uphold infection control and safety standards.
• Offer emotional support to patients to help them feel cared for.
