Job summary

Qualifications

Graduation from school of professional nursing.
Licensed to practice as an RN in North Carolina by the start.
BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Education - Identifies learning needs and attends education programs; uses patient education materials relevant to patient population.
Evaluation of Care - Identifies expected outcomes and participates in care plan evaluations with the interdisciplinary team.
Implementation - Delivers care for patients with complex problems; performs bedside tests and follows policies/procedures.
Leadership - Supports unit goals, communicates effectively, and promotes a safe hospital environment.
Patient Assessment - Assesses needs across physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety domains; helps plan discharge needs.
Planning - Collaborates on care plans with patient/family and uses multidisciplinary resources.
Research - Engages with current literature and shares ideas for practice improvement.
