Job summary

Peachtree Orthopedics is seeking a Physician Assistant in Atlanta, GA to deliver advanced clinical care under supervision. You will assess patients, design treatment plans, perform procedures, and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to ensure excellent outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification, with orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Master-level PA degree (MPAS/MMS) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of PA experience; orthopedic/sports medicine preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic testing, pharmacology, and clinical procedures.
• Experience with Athena EMR and electronic documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations under physician supervision.
• Diagnose and manage orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
• Assist with pre/post-operative care and clinic coverage.
