Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta seeks a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics to join a medical center team. The PA provides orthopedic care under physician supervision, performing exams, orders, treatment plans, and patient education.

The PA documents in Epic/HealthConnect, collaborates with a supervising physician, and may perform minor procedures. Travel between offices is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Current PA-C certification required.
• Georgia license or eligibility to practice in GA.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• Experience in orthopedic or surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic injuries.
• Order imaging and laboratory tests.
• Coordinate with supervising physician.
• Counsel patients on treatment plans.
• Perform select minor office procedures.
• Travel between medical offices as required.
