Job summary

Vero Orthopaedics in Florida is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team. The PA will work closely with physicians to provide comprehensive care across the patient’s treatment course, including evaluations, pre- and postoperative care, and in-office procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Florida PA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain, if required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat new and established patients with supervising physicians.
• Obtain comprehensive histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with physicians.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and lab results.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care options.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative evaluations and care.
• Assist in-office procedures and, when applicable, surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate care with the clinical team and support staff.
