Qualifications

• Ability to assess situations and resolve within scope.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Travel between facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and compiles medical data; plans treatment for new and established patients.
• Orders diagnostic studies when indicated and educates patients/families on plan and medications.
• Consults with physicians to assess patient condition and treatment; ensures timely medical charts and paperwork.
• Provides monitoring and continuity of care between visits; follows up per practice guidelines.
• May perform preoperative assessment and coordinate surgical schedule as needed.
• Documents orders and considerations from surgeon; monitors patients and administers medications per policy.
• Provides support to medical and office staff.
