Job summary
Sports Medicine North, north of Boston, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join its orthopedic team. The PA will provide clinic and OR support to the surgeons and participate in first assistant duties at the on-site ambulatory surgery center.
The position offers a generous compensation package, 4 weeks PTO, 401k, CME allowance, and a supportive team environment. Massachusetts license and board certification are required, with orthopedic experience preferred; new grads are welcome to
Qualifications
- Board Certified PA
- Massachusetts license
- Orthopedic experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply with an orthopedic rotation
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Provide clinic and OR support to orthopedic surgeons
- Perform first assistant surgical duties
- Hospital rounding / call responsibilities
- EMR and billing inputs
- Triage telephone calls and provide consultations
- Post-operative evaluations
- On-site ambulatory surgery center operations
