Job summary

Sports Medicine North, a multi-specialty orthopedic practice north of Boston, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to support its surgeons in both clinic and operating room settings. The PA will perform complete physicals, obtain medical histories, and coordinate care with the team, including perioperative responsibilities.

The role includes on-site ambulatory surgery center work, Monday–Friday schedule, and on-site office locations with generous compensation and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Board Certified PA with Massachusetts license.
• Orthopedic rotation experience preferred; new grads welcome with an orthopedic rotation.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to triage and manage postoperative patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete physical exams and obtain medical history.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic procedures; determine diagnosis and plan.

The Physician Assistant will provide clinic and OR support to the group’s orthopedic surgeons. This well-regarded practice of 24 sub-specialty trained physicians offers a highly collegial and supportive work environment.Highlights:Performs complete physical exams, obtains complete medical history and records findingsOrders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
