Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies required or equivalent.
• Active NY/NJ/CT license depending on location; current NCCPA certification.
• 100 hours of continuing medical education every 2 years; recertification as required.
• ACLS and BLS certification; DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients in the physician practice setting.
• Ambulatory management with credentialing by the Medical Board; extended responsibilities.
