Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City seeks a Physician Assistant (Core) to join a high-performing team dedicated to mobility and quality of life. This full-time role involves assisting in the OR, performing H&Ps, and floor coverage under PA management.
The PA track requires NYS PA license and NCCPA certification; NP track requires NYS NP license/RN and NP certification, with RNFA preferred and a 6-month RNFA enrollment deadline. DEA, BLS/ACLS, and Epic EMR experience are preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program. Masters preferred. Current NYS Physician Assistant license and registration. NCCPA board certification
or
Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing. Current NYS License as a Nurse Practitioner and RN. Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner. RNFA preferred. The Nurse Practitioner is required to enroll in RNFA program within 6 months of employment. The NP, without an RNFA license, must have 2 years of operating room experience at HSS.
