Job summary

Advanced Orthopaedics, a division of Ortho LoneStat, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support an orthopedic outpatient clinic under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehab modalities, document progress, and educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• One to two years of related experience preferred.
• Outpatient orthopedic and manual therapy experience desirable; certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in home exercise programs and safety.
• Observe and communicate patient progress for plan adjustments.
• Maintain accurate documentation per clinic policies and regulations.
• Assist in supervising PT technicians and students as directed.
