Job summary
Resurgens-Orthopaedics in Atlanta, GA seeks a licensed physical therapist to join our orthopedic team. You will evaluate patients, create and implement rehab plans, and support recovery from musculoskeletal injuries.
You will supervise PT assistants, document care in EMR, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes. A state PT license and a degree from an accredited program are required; orthopedic experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- State PT license to practice.
- Orthopedic specialty certifications welcome; orthopedics preferred.
- Two years' experience treating patients in an orthopedic setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs evaluations and treatment plans under physician instruction.
- Maintains documentation and communication; follows state practice act.
- Documents findings and treatment plans for physician follow-ups.
- Provides supervision of PTAs and technicians within scope.
- Coordinates with healthcare professionals to ensure outcomes.
- Educates patients on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
- Other duties as assigned.
