Key Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluation: Perform thorough assessments of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, developing a deep understanding of individual mobility issues.
• Treatment Planning: Create personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of methods such as customized exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced therapeutic modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implementation of Therapy: Conduct hands‑on therapeutic sessions in patients' homes, continually assessing the effectiveness of the treatment methods and making required adaptations to improve outcomes.
• Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, responses, and rehabilitation progress, to inform ongoing care and ensure collaborative updates with healthcare partners.
• Goal Reevaluation: Regularly reassess patient goals based on progress and make adjustments to the treatment plan as necessary to align with patients' evolving health needs.
• Assistive Device Recommendations: Assess and provide guidance on the use of assistive devices, ensuring that patients and caregivers are trained appropriately for safe usage.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated with current best practices and advancements in physical therapy through continuous professional development, workshops, and peer networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily engage with patients who require orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, chronic pain conditions, and postural issues. This diverse patient population ranges from children to elderly individuals, each with unique limitations and recovery goals, requiring a tailored approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
