Job summary

Hand and Reconstructive Surgeons and Associates is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to provide ongoing patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting in Ohio. The PA will take histories, assess conditions, interpret findings, and maintain quality standards while communicating clearly with patients and colleagues.

Applicants must hold a Master’s PA degree, NCCPA certification, Ohio licensure, ACLS, and a current prescribing certificate; three years of PA experience and a strong surgical

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Current Ohio licensure and ACLS.
• Certificate to Prescribe current and maintained.
• Minimum of three years PA experience.
• Excellent communication with patients and colleagues.
• Computer literacy incl. Excel, Word and Outlook; EMR experience (EPIC)
• Surgical background is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing patient care in line with Ohio Medical Board rules and institutional policies.
• Take medical histories and assess patient conditions; interpret findings.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and colleagues for excellent patient experience.
• Remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
