Ashe Memorial Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our orthopedic and multispecialty teams. The role provides patient care across outpatient physician practice, surgical services, inpatient care, and on-call coverage.

You will work within a collaborative team, ensure safety and high-quality care, and participate in call rotations and professional development.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• One to three years of experience in a physician practice setting preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Mansioni

• Provide patient care across outpatient, physician practice, surgical services and inpatient settings.
• Assist with orthopedic procedures and conduct inpatient/postoperative rounds.
• Order and review labs and diagnostics; develop treatment plans within scope.
• Prescribe medications and orthotic devices within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with the team and participate in professional development and call duties.
