Job summary

MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine – Brunswick is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join their established, high-volume practice. The successful candidate will join a cohesive group of 6 Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants, participate in cross-coverage and daily inpatient rounding, and work a schedule of 1 OR day and 3 clinic days per week.

Ideal candidates will have an unrestricted Maine PA-C license (or eligibility to obtain), Board Certification/Board Eligibility, and at

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Maine PA-C license, or the ability to obtain state licensure prior to employment.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in Orthopedics and/or OR.
• Comfortability working in hand-surgery is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Join a team-based orthopedic group with cross-coverage and daily inpatient rounding.
• This position includes 1 operating room day and 3 clinic days per week.
• Call coverage of 1:6 in the evenings and weekend rounding.
