Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Crow Valley Orthopedics Care in the Quad Cities is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide outpatient patient care within our orthopedic teams. You will perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation, coordinating with physicians, nurses and other staff to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa is required (compact license acceptable where applicable).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient orthopedic settings using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, patients and families; educate patients and families; ensure team communication.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of assessments, vitals, treatments, education and plans.
• Administer medications and therapies safely through multiple routes and support procedures as needed.
