Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group in Moline, IL, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for outpatient orthopedic care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa; other states may require licensure based on location.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Strong communication, teamwork and patient education skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings with safe, evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate care with clinical staff and educate patients and families.
• Communicate across healthcare teams and document assessments and plans.
• Administer medications and treatments via multiple routes following policy.
• Assist providers with scheduling, admissions, referrals, and procedures.
• Maintain EMR documentation accuracy and participate in quality initiatives.
