Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a Physician Assistant for our Orthopedic Surgery outpatient clinic in Boston. This full-time role focuses on independent workups, diagnoses, and treatment planning across spine, joints, hand, sports, and trauma, with opportunities to assist in surgery and perioperative care.

The PA will order and interpret tests, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with the team under supervision of senior clinicians. Massachusetts license and NCCPA eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• NCCPA PANCE eligibility and MA PA licensure required.
• Massachusetts DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent workups and formulate diagnoses and treatment plans for orthopedic problems within scope.
• Order, collect, and interpret labs and imaging studies.
• Assist in surgical procedures and perioperative care, including pre/post operative orders.
• Coordinate patient care plans and educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
