Job summary

Westlawn Surgery Center in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Per Diem Operating Room Registered Nurse to support our orthopedic cases. The Circulating RN will position and prep patients and circulate the case, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active TN RN license, BLS and ACLS, and three years of OR experience with orthopedic cases; CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program and licensed as RN in TN.
• Three years of OR/circulating experience with orthopedic cases.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position, prep, and circulate patient during surgery.
• Assist with intraoperative nursing care and maintain sterile field.
• Support OR team and ensure patient safety throughout the case.

Operating Room Registered Nurse at Westlawn Surgery Center

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Three years of OR/circulating experience
• Must have orthopedic experience
• Current unrestricted TN RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• CNOR preferred
• Critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
