Job summary

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The OR RN will provide direct patient care during surgery, position and prep patients, and circulate cases while guiding non-licensed staff. The role serves adolescents to geriatric patients within a multidisciplinary team.

Four 10-hour shifts weekly, with emphasis on infection control, professional competencies, and top-notch customer service. Arizona license and CPR/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Orthopedic Operating Room Experience Required.
Minimum of two OR experiences preferred.
Current Arizona Nursing License.
Current CPR and ACLS certification.
Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to work with patients, families, physicians, and staff.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care during surgery cases in the OR.
Position, prep, and circulate the surgical case.
Serve as resource person for non-licensed staff.
Care for adolescent to geriatric patients.
