Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder credentials (CPC), CCS-P, CRC, or equivalent.
• Experience in CPT, HCPCS, and modifier coding.
• Experience in a surgical environment (ASC, hospital OR, or office-based operatory).
• Strong understanding of surgical workflows, supplies, implants, and instrumentation.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Post surgical cases with CPT/HCPCS coding and verify accuracy.
• Reconcile supplies and implants; ensure proper charge capture.
• Collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure compliant documentation and billing.
• Audit cases to minimize revenue leakage and improve reimbursement.
