Phoebe Putney Health System in Albany, GA is seeking an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team. You will deliver musculoskeletal care, work with orthopedic surgeons and clinicians to manage patients with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions in both clinic and procedural settings.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Nursing, NP-C certification, and BLS, with several years of nursing leadership or independent decision-making experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Nurse Practitioners Certification (NP-C) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for patient care management, counseling, education of patients and families in collaboration with facility MD's.
• Deliver high quality musculoskeletal care, working closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to manage patients with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions in both clinical and procedural settings.
• Assesses and diagnoses, collects data, prioritizes data collection and plans based on patient condition and needs.
• Documents and submits required information in a timely fashion using correct terminology and required formats.
• Directs coordination of care across settings, models teamwork, and promotes nursing through professional involvement.
• Adheres to attendance guidelines and completes mandatory trainings and competency evaluations on time.
