Phoebe Putney Health System in Albany, GA is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality musculoskeletal care in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons. You will manage patients with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions and provide counseling and education to patients and families.

The role emphasizes close cooperation with surgeons and other healthcare professionals in both clinical and procedural settings. PA-C certification and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physician assisting. (Required)
• 1 year experience in elective tracks completed within the PA training program and (or) previous experience in area of specialty. (Preferred)
• PA-C - Physician Assistant (Required) Department Specific Certifications (Required)

Responsabilités

• Responsible for patient care management, counseling, and education of patients and families in collaboration with facility MDs.
• Deliver high quality musculoskeletal care, working closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to manage patients with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions in both clinical and procedural settings.
