Job summary

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our pain management team. The role focuses on patient care management, counseling, and education of patients and families in collaboration with facility MDs.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (NP or PA) and have NP-C/PA-C certification with BLS. Experience in pain management preferred, with demonstrated supervision and independent decision making.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing for Nurse Practitioners (Required) or Master’s Degree from accredited Physician Assistant Program (Required).
• NP-C or PA-C certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 3 years supervision/independent decision making in major nursing areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care management, counseling and education to patients and families in collaboration with facility physicians.
• Join and contribute to the pain management team.
