MedStar Health in Mitchellville is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join Therapy – Mitchellville. The role covers screening, evaluation, treatment planning and discharge planning, with duties to document progress and collaborate with the care team.

The ideal candidate will have a PT degree, active licensure in MD/DC/VA as applicable, and BLS CPR certification; a focus on customer service and family-inclusive care is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy.
• Maryland, DC and/or Virginia licensure as appropriate for location(s).
• AHA BLS CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide evaluation services and determine treatment plans with patient/family involvement.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient status.
• Complete discharge planning and accurate documentation of patient care.
