OrthoVirginia in Virginia's premier orthopedic network is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations in an orthopedic setting, with evening and weekend shifts that fit your life. Qualifications

• Experience performing MRI examinations in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging protocols, and MRI safety.
• Ability to consistently produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations while following established imaging protocols and MRI safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, explaining exams and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Review images for technical quality, proper positioning, and anatomical coverage.
• Accurately document patient and examination information and ensure images are properly processed.
• Follow MRI screening and safety procedures to protect patients, team members, and others entering the MRI environment.
• Prepare and maintain MRI rooms and equipment to support safe, efficient patient care.
• Partner with physicians and clinical team members to provide an efficient and positive patient experience.
• Maintain equipment and promptly identify or elevate potential safety or operational concerns.
