Job summary

Arthrex Iowa is seeking a highly self-motivated Associate Sales Representative to join our fast-paced, dedicated team in Decatur, IL. We are a growing orthopedic and sports medicine distributor with openings in Iowa and Illinois, selling a full line of differentiated technology and disposable products.

The Associate Sales Representative will learn the sales process, build accounts, and support the territory’s surgical staff.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in the top 10% of your sales organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Sales background in sports, sports medicine or competition preferred.
• Knowledge/background of human anatomy is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn a high level of technical information related to surgery and procedures.
• Clean driving record, background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Support the territory’s surgical staff including delivering products to surgeons and maintaining their accounts.
• Promote products to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Grow accounts by working with existing customers and prospecting for new customers in the territory.
• Learn and develop selling skills with mentorship from team members and managers.
• Maintain strong rapport with clients to sustain long-term relationships.
• Manage inventory of consigned products.
