Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA, CMA, or Ortho Tech program (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ year of medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems (Epic preferred).
• Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of professionalism and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients: escort to exam rooms, assist with dressing/undressing, ensure comfort and privacy.
• Gather information: review patient registration details, collect forms, complete EMR intake documentation.
• Coordinate care: prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and procedures, obtain test results, manage surgical clearances.
• Communicate and follow up: handle patient callbacks, prescriptions, referrals; monitor physician queues.
• DME support: demonstrate proper fitting and usage of braces and soft goods when needed.
