Job summary

Texas Orthopedics in Austin is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in South and Northwest Austin clinics. You will assist with patient care, cast fittings, bracing, injections, and education, while maintaining efficient clinic flow and records in EMR.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and MA certificate preferred; one year in a healthcare setting is desirable. Travel between clinic locations may be required with a focus on patient confidentiality and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, including casting, bracing, and related duties as assigned.
• Prepare exam rooms, instruments, linens, and maintain clinic cleanliness and efficiency.
• Document all patient communications or treatments in EMR.
• Assist with phlebotomy if certified and travel to other locations as needed.
• Coordinate schedules with physicians and office manager.
