Job summary

Orthopaedic Solutions Management is seeking a full-time clinical support professional to assist physicians with exams, prepare rooms and equipment, and help manage patient flow. You will document patient information, coordinate tests, and support prescription processing under physician supervision.

The role requires Florida-licensure credentials (EMT/MA/LPN/RT(R)/Athletic Trainer) or eligibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to varying clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Certified – Emergency Medical Technician.
• Certified – Medical Assistant.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, Florida (or eligible).
• Radiologic Technologist RT(R), Florida (or eligible).
• Athletic Trainer – BOC Certified, Florida (or eligible) and have or obtain NPI number.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician(s) with patient exams.
• Prepare work area, exam rooms, and equipment.
• Escort patients to rooms, take and record vital signs, document personal information such as allergies and medications within patient medical record.
• Perform daily organizational tasks such as locating all x-rays and MRI reports.
• Assist physician(s) with paperwork for patient care.
• Help maintain patient flow and workflow.
• Work collaboratively to provide high quality treatment and efficient service to patients.
• Assist physician to ensure prescriptions are called into pharmacy and completed in the medical record.
• Coordinate and document patient communications and follow-ups as appropriate.
• Explain prevention techniques to reduce injury under physician direction.
• Explain home exercise protocols under physician direction.
• Take patient histories and document subjective/objective/assessment under physician guidance.
