Job summary

Premier Orthopedics-MVH is seeking full-time clinical staff to support physicians and providers in a busy ambulatory orthopedic setting.

The role involves patient care, order entry, reporting, phone handling, and clerical duties, with opportunities to assist in minor procedures as directed. CPR certification and EPIC EMR familiarity are strongly preferred for success in this fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• MA applicants: certified by an accredited program or recognized certifying body.
• LPN applicants: must have completed practical nursing program and hold current licensure.
• Experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred.
• Able to learn center tasks and support management and physicians.
• CPR certification within 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care, order entry and reporting.
• Handle phone calls, clerical and organizational tasks.
• Perform procedures as directed (venipuncture, injections, EKGs, etc.).
• Support surgical and medical procedures as needed.
• Maintain patient care and customer service standards.
