Qualifications

• Knowledge of orthopedic terminology preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems, especially Athena.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients; obtain vitals, medical history, and medications.
• Assist providers with injections, casting, splinting, and minor procedures.
• Dispense and fit braces and DME per provider order.
• Verify authorizations and ensure signed consents for DME and Visco.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
• Document patient encounters in Athena EMR, will train.
• Coordinate imaging, referrals, and followups.
• Participate in training new team members.
