Job summary

HSHS Medical Group seeks a Medical Assistant to perform a wide range of duties, including direct patient care, reception, and basic lab tasks. All patient care is provided under supervision, with duties extending to administrative support and coordinating care for patients of all ages.

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, with potential consideration for 1+ year of MA experience and BLS within 60 days. This is a full-time in-person position.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience may be considered in lieu of program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care and administrative tasks under physician supervision.
• Engage in reception activities, greet patients and assist visitors.
• Assist with laboratory tasks and support the business side of patient visits.
