The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LL, OrthoMaryland Division, is seeking a team-oriented Medical Assistant for our busy orthopedic practice. Under the direction/supervision of the Clinical Manager and Physicians, this team member will provide medical assistance to doctors in the examination and treatment of patients.

This full-time position supports patient flow, patient comfort, and privacy, and uses EMR software to communicate and manage care.

Competenze

• Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Orthopaedic experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Exhibits strong customer service in daily interactions with patients and staff.

Mansioni

• Supports patient flow in clinical areas and ensures patient comfort and privacy.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures and documents planned medical procedures.
• Prepares injections and sterile surgical supplies as ordered.
• Maintains exam/treatment room cleanliness and stock levels.
• Operates EMR and scheduling systems to communicate patient needs.
