Job summary

Atlantis Orthopaedics is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a busy orthopedic practice in South Florida. You will work alongside physicians and PAs to provide patient-centered care, prepare patients for exams, document in the EMR, and help manage the flow of patients across Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens, and Delray Beach locations.

The ideal candidate has clinical MA experience, basic anatomy knowledge, strong organization, and a collaborative attitude to support a high-volume clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of basic human anatomy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and physician assistants with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow to support an efficient and positive clinic experience.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment.
• Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogen, and practice protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to deliver outstanding patient care.
