Genesis Orthopedics &Sports Medicine is seeking an Orthopedic Medical Assistant to join the team. Your role will focus on supporting physicians, managing patient histories, and performing administrative duties. Ideal candidates should have a solid healthcare background and knowledge of orthopedic procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient examinations, handling basic clerical tasks, and maintaining patient records. You will work approximately Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and must be open to traveling within the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited medical assistant program or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Prior experience in orthopedics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
• Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone and maintaining records.
